In summary, once an incident is reported to the Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (SCCR), it will go to the Incident Review Committee (IRC) for review of the incident report and the supporting information. The incident may need possible investigation before going to the IRC. After the IRC reviews, SCCR will make the decision to charge. If they decide not to charge, the case is closed. If they decide to charge, a charge letter will be issued out. Then an informational meeting will be scheduled. From the informational meeting, the proceedings will either follow shared governance or go to the Greek Conduct Committee. Through shared governance, a decision will be made regarding the case. Decisions can be appealed. Through the Greek Conduct Committee, a formal hearing will be scheduled. After the hearing, a recommendation will be sent to the Dean of Students or designee for a decision. Decisions can be appealed.
